summer crit series

HSP is pleased to announce Houston’s first ever beginner and intermediate cycle race series.

Races include Junior boy’s and girl’s, women’s races, and beginner/intermediate men’s races. Also included, is the first ever Beginner Race Program in Houston, run through USA Cycling. The series will be held on a closed course using the roads surrounding HSP.

Dates for the series are July 5th (Sunday), July 11th, 18th, 25th and August 1st (Saturdays)

This program includes five sessions with a certified coach covering all racing topics ranging from cornering and pack riding, to race tactics and bumping. New riders can learn how to race, and then put their new skills to the test by racing in a full category race afterwards.
